Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! was written in 1945 by Sammy Cahn and Julie Styne on a hot sunny day in California.  Vaughn Monroe took it to #1 on the charts that year and it comes to mind every winter since.

Here, in the Northeast, especially today.
